This site, and the cloud server where it is hosted, were created following the instructions of Derek Sivers. I've linked directly to his instructions page, but his whole site is worth a look too.
I followed these instructions using a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad running on the Ubuntu OS while trying to do as much as a I could via the terminal.
Most definitely a learning curve.
